"The obivous benefit is to the youth that receives the calf. It helps the youth build self-confindence and resposibility along with other benefits that will help sculpt their future. The donor also benefits by getting their cattle out in front of more people. This helps advertise a breeder's herd while they are helping a kid. The Limousin breed also benefits by getting more limousin cattle out to the fairs. The more limousin cattle that are being shown means more people are seeing these cattle and that means promotion of the limousin breed. It also helps make new breeders out of some of these young people and there families," Ben Bennett continues.

"I feel that the C.O.D.Y program is really a win win win effort", Ben Bennett states.
